Rabindranath Tagore · Philosophy
Tagore’s core philosophy, drawn from the Upanishads and made modern: our end is not to escape the world but to realise the infinite within the finite, the one Self in all things, and to find that the ground of creation is joy.
You learned that Tagore’s Sadhana reworks the Upanishadic vision: the finite is not opposed to the infinite but reveals it, the individual self finds itself through union with the All rather than isolation, and joy ( ananda ) is the source of creation. Explain these ideas in your own words.
